AR7708 Overview

The APC NetShelter SX Air Recirculation Prevention Kit is an airflow management accessory designed specifically for APC NetShelter SX rack enclosures (42U and 48U heights). It helps prevent warm exhaust air inside the rack from recirculating forward into the intake area by closing gaps between the vertical mounting flanges and the side panels, forcing hot air to exit out the rear and promoting proper top‑to‑bottom airflow through the equipment. The kit installs in the zero‑U space along the vertical channels, includes cable routing covers and airflow restriction strips, and is lightweight and easy to install with the supplied installation guide. By reducing internal air recirculation it improves cooling efficiency and helps maintain more consistent rack temperatures, which is especially useful in high‑density deployments with active cooling systems.
