AP9322 Overview

The APC Motion Sensor is an environmental monitoring accessory designed to work with APC’s Environmental Management System and NetBotz infrastructure to detect movement within a monitored area. It uses a motion-sensing element that can cover a significant area (up to around 50 ft sensing distance) and helps trigger alerts or automated responses when unexpected activity occurs near sensitive IT equipment in data centers, server rooms, or other secure facilities. The compact, white-finished sensor mounts easily and connects to compatible monitoring appliances to extend environmental awareness beyond temperature and humidity measurements, enhancing physical security and environmental oversight in critical IT environments.
