Designed as a 2U rack server, the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 accommodates up to two 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Platinum processors with a maximum power of 205W. It supports an impressive memory capacity of up to 9TB, utilizing 24 DIMM slots with 128GB DIMMs and Intel® Optane™ DC Persistent Memory, operating at 2666/2933MHz TruDDR4.
For expansion, it offers up to 7 PCIe 3.0 slots with various riser options, including one dedicated PCIe slot for RAID adapters. The server features flexible drive bays, supporting up to 14x 3.5″ or 24x 2.5″ hot-swap bays, with options for 12x AnyBay and 24x NVMe bays, as well as 2x M.2 boot drives configured in RAID 1.
