The Avaya 700500758 (IP500 TCM‑8 Digital Card) is an expansion base card for the Avaya IP Office 500 V2 telephone system that adds digital station connectivity for legacy Nortel phones. Instead of providing VoIP or analog ports like other modules, this card offers up to eight TCM digital station ports (plus additional RJ45 ports for trunk daughter cards) so businesses transitioning from older Nortel Norstar or BCM systems can retain their existing digital handsets and integrate them into a modern IP Office setup. It installs directly into the IP500 V2 control unit and is supported with IP Office software release 7.0 or higher, with a maximum of four TCM‑8 cards per system, helping protect previous hardware investments while expanding station capacity.
