ASR-9001 Overview

The Cisco ASR 9001 is a compact, high-performance provider-edge router, featuring a nonblocking, full-duplex fabric capacity of 120 Gbps in a 2RU form factor. This model includes an integrated route switch processor (RSP) and two modular bays that accommodate various modular port adapters, including 1 GE, 10 GE, and 40 GE. The base chassis, ASR-9001, includes four 10 GE SFP+ ports, a GPS input for Stratum 1 clocking, BITS ports, and management ports.
