Allied Telesis 1000SX SFP Module
This SFP module operates over Multi-Mode Fiber (MMF) with a TX and RX wavelength of 850 nm. It boasts a minimum optical budget of 7.5 dB and supports distances up to 550 meters. The device operates at data rates between 1.063 and 1.25 Gbps, making it suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel applications.
Key features include DDM/DOM support and a standard temperature range of 0°-70°C. The connectors are Double LC, and the Tx/Rx wavelength bandwidth is 20 nm (ranging from 840-860 nm). The module has minimum and maximum transmitting power levels of -9.5 dB and -3 dB respectively, with receiver sensitivity at -17 dBm and overload at -3 dBm.
The dispersion is measured at 110 ps/nm, utilizing a VSCEL laser for transmission and a PIN photodiode for receiving. Powered by a +3.3V single power supply, the AT-SPSX-90 is classified as a mini-GBIC transceiver module, compatible with SFP+ slots, designed for wired connectivity with Ethernet 1000Base-SX cabling.
